I am Alexis Downs, the face behind The Growing Nest Doula Services. I became a mother in 2016 and am expecting my next September 2022. My personal birth experiences have been water births at home and in a birth center. I had a missed miscarriage in between my pregnancies which led me to train with Still . I have all boys and a step son. My hobbies outside of Doula work are homeschooling and getting outside to explore!  

I have been supporting mothers since 2019. I have a special place in my heart for unmedicated births, but love to support all families on their journey no matter personal preferences. I have been trained through DONA, Still Birthday, and IPPA. Completed Bloodborne Pathogens and Food Safety trainings.
